Mama Ngina University College successfully held a research training on 4th February 2026 for academic staff and postgraduate students as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen research capacity and promote a strong research culture. The training focused on enhancing participants’ skills in writing competitive and fundable research proposals, understanding donor expectations, developing effective work plans and budgets, and identifying funding opportunities through specialized research databases. Participants were also guided on the practical use of citation and reference management tools to support high quality, ethical, and well-structured scholarly work. The interactive sessions included live demonstrations and question-and-answer discussions, providing participants with practical insights to improve their research outputs and grant-seeking success.
