Mama Ngina University College endeavors to promote the health and well-being of the local community in line with it’s mandate on community outreach. MNUC in partnership with the Community Strategy Focal Person at Juja Sub-county, Kiambu County organized a school health outreach activity at Kibii Primary School. Led by the Dean School of Health Sciences Dr. Ruth
Mbugua, the faculty from the School of Health Sciences held health education sessions with the Early Childhood & Development, Primary, and Junior Secondary School learners. This included health talks on General Hygiene, Oral Hygiene, Menstrual Hygiene, Sexual and Reproductive Health. Deworming services were also provided to the learners. To support the hygiene practices. MNUC donated tooth brushes, toothpaste and sanitary towels.
