Mama Ngina University College hosted Elke Roels and Bart Vochten from the Karel De Grote (KdG) University in Antwerp – Belgium. The two guests are members of faculty and program leaders in the area of Computer Science/Information Technology in the Department of IT and Management.

Our Principal (Prof. Zipporah Ng’ang’a) emphasised the value of collaborations and cited the immense mutual gains that can emerge from the envisioned collaboration between KdG and MNUC.

The KdG team held discussions with our team by the Deputy Principal Professor Sakwa, accompanied by Deans of Schools and other relevant internal stakeholders, in a bid to explore possible collaboration with KdG. A number of possible areas for collaboration were identified out of the deliberations including; student/staff exchange, collaborative research, joint workshops/conferences among others.
