MNUC team was pleased to undertake a visit to Konza Technopolis to assess Cloud Hosting and Data Center Standards in line with MNUC strategy to upgrade our Data Center and establish a centre for Open Distance and Electronic Learning.

The University College was represented by Dr. Ratemo Cyprian (Dean, School of Pure and Applied Sciences), Mr. Isaac Kuria (Head, ICT), Mr. Dion Martin (ICT Network Administrator) and Mr. Zachary Kariuki (Head, Procurement). The team engaged in a knowledge sharing session with Konza Technopolis Cloud Engineers, Network Engineers, and Power Solutions Architects.

Both teams also charted way on the possibility of forming a partnership in line with the Vision 2030 Government’s mission of facilitating sustainable social economic transformation by leveraging on ICT, Universal Access to Information and Communication Services for Global Competitiveness.
