The Interdenominational Prayer Day, held on Sunday, 16th November 2025 at TC-009, brought together a vibrant gathering of the MNUC community under the theme “Light on Campus, Hope to the Nation.” The event was attended by students, staff and their families, as well as guests from Kenyatta University SDA and the Focus Group, reflecting a strong spirit of unity, fellowship, and shared devotion. Prof. Sakwa, the Deputy Principal representing the Principal, highlighted the importance of knowing and living under God’s guidance for a community such as MNUC and the commitment of management to provide space for such.
The service was hosted by the SDA Club, with representation from the entire University College community. The various religious associations delivered uplifting presentations—including songs, skits, and scriptural recitations—that showcased the rich diversity of faith expressions on campus.
A key highlight of the day was the sermon delivered by Pr. Dr. Njoroge Mburu, centered on the theme of being “a light.” He encouraged all attendees to reflect God’s light through integrity, compassion, and purposeful living. Other speakers emphasized religious harmony, hope, and the importance of upright living within a shared academic and social environment.
The event concluded with social and sports activities, offering a meaningful space for worship, reflection, and strengthened interfaith relationships within MNUC.
