The MNUC School Mentorship Programme Lead Mentors Training is a two-day capacity-building forum organized by Mama Ngina University College under the theme: “Empowering Educators for Holistic Wellness and Transformative School Mentorship.” The training seeks to equip lead mentors with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to effectively guide learners through structured, ethical and sustainable mentorship practices.

The programme brings together education stakeholders, mentorship experts, Ministry of Education officials, and school leaders to strengthen mentorship frameworks within schools. Key areas of focus include child safeguarding, mentor competencies, learner wellbeing, mentorship theories, monitoring and evaluation and future-ready mentorship approaches.

Through interactive sessions and practical engagement, the training aims to nurture competent, value-based mentors capable of supporting learners’ academic, social, emotional and personal development for positive transformation in schools and communities
