Mama Ngina University College (MNUC)  conducted a Module Digitization Workshop on April 22 – 24 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Open, Virtual and Distance Learning. The workshop brought together lecturers, ICT staff, and content digitizers to collaboratively transform teaching materials into high-quality digital formats suitable for online delivery.

The primary objective of the workshop was to support the university’s transition towards a more flexible and accessible learning environment. Participants were taken through best practices in instructional design, content structuring, multimedia integration, and use of the Learning Management System (LMS). Emphasis was placed on aligning course content with OVDL standards to ensure consistency, interactivity, and learner engagement.

This initiative marks a significant step in MNUC’s commitment to expanding access to education through technology, improving the quality of online learning, and enhancing the overall student experience in a rapidly evolving digital education landscape.
