ELECTRONIC GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT SYSTEM (E-GP) TRAINING BY THE NATIONAL TREASURY

The Office of the President and the National Treasury vide circulars Ref:OP/CAB.6/2A and Ref: NT/PPD/1/3/14 Vol.VI dated 5^th June,2025 and 26^th,March,2025 respectively communicated the transition and roll out of an End-TO –End Electronic Government Procurement System(E-GPS) for the Government of Kenya from 1^st July ,2025.

To that effect Mama Ngina University College as a registered Procuring Entity in the E-GPS partnered with The National Treasury for a one week in-house training. The staff were inducted on the end to end Electronic Government Procurement System (E-GPS).

This system shall enhance transparency, accountability, with increased bidder participation and authenticity of procurement documents. In addition procurement operations shall be real time and visible by the stakeholders including bidders, Government agencies, donors and the public.
