WELDING

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) mean grade D+ or recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Craft Certificate in welding, Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized technical institution;
  • Occupational Health and Safety knowledge;
  • One (1) year of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Fabrication, welding, plumbing, fitting and lathe operation skills will be an added advantage.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Graduate Assistant is a training position based on one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years subject to yearly Masters Progress. Remuneration will be based on the existing InterPublic Universities Council Consultation Forum (IPUCCF) negotiated terms.

Those qualified for positions of Plumber, Mason, Electrical Works, Carpentry, Welding, painting, steel fixing and foreman will be engaged on a need basis and remunerated as per the current market rates.
