On Friday, 25th April 2025, Mama Ngina University College held its annual tree planting event. Led by the Principal, Prof. Zipporah Nganga, a team of 40 staff members and students traveled to Ruabora Intake Works in Ndarugu Location for the exercise. The event was organized in partnership with Gatundu Water and Sanitation Company, who provided the site, and KCB (Gatundu and Gikomba branches), who donated the seedlings.
With construction at the site recently concluded, the tree planting initiative aims to enhance environmental protection, sustain the reservoir, and help reverse some of the damage caused during the construction phase.
Participants were encouraged to continue engaging in conservation efforts, emphasizing the importance of protecting the environment for current and future generations.

Isaac Kuria is also the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of MNUC.
