On September 4, 2025, the 2nd MNUC Council was officially inaugurated in a ceremony graced by Dr. Wahome Rureri, PhD, representing the Principal Secretary, State Department for Higher Education.
The newly appointed members of the 2nd Council are:

- Dr. John Nyangena – Alternate to the PS, State Department for Higher Education
- Dr. Karen Kandie – Alternate to the PS, National Treasury and Economic Planning
- Dr. Joyce Nyabuti, MBS – Member
- CPA Gilbert Nyongesa – Member
- Mr. Thomas Leremore – Member
- Mr. Davies Mukuria – Member
- Ms. Lizzie Chongoti – Member
- Prof. Paul Wainaina – Ex- Officio – V.C Kenyatta University
- Prof. Zipporah Ng’ang’a – Ex-Officio – Principal MNUC
